Leslie & Jacob got hitched on August 29, 2009 at the gorgeous American Village in Montevallo, AL. We loved being able to provide a wonderful wedding film for this couple and it was certainly a pleasure being able to share their special wedding day with both of them! Here’s their wedding trailer:

Wow, this was quite a wedding! We had an awesome time spending the day with Frank & Phadra, here’s a short video we produced the same day and played at their reception. Everyone loved it!!
What’s a Same-Day-Edit? It’s a new emerging trend where a videographer shoots video during the first part of the day, and during your reception makes a quick highlight video to play at your reception as entertainment! Super fun entertainment for your guests, especially those involved in the wedding day!

On a more wedding related note, we had an awesome opportunity to work with friends Scott & Kelli at their wedding in Huntsville! We don’t actually offer photography as part of our services, but it sure was fun being able to take some photos from their wedding, makes for a different experience from what we normally do. Wonderful relaxed setting at their parent’s home, right in their backyard. Scott & Kelli had a live band, consisting of their friends and family, and you couldn’t have asked for better weather! Enjoy some of these photos from their big day!
I love the beach, and so do Kristen & Jonathan, obviously why they chose to get married there! Jonathan’s mom met with us way back in March to plan our trip down to the coast to shoot a Love Story and an awesome film for happy couple Kristen & Jonathan. We didn’t really get to meet the bride and groom until the Love Story shoot, but we were easily able to pick up on their fun personality! We were a little worried about the weather that day because of the chance of storms, but everything turned out perfect, never rained a single drop. We also go to meet with Gardendale Wedding Photographer Leigh Ann, from LA Protography. She was great to work with, and took some awesome photos, we look forward to working with you again Leigh Ann!
Another part of this wedding which made things even more awesome for us, was the fact we got to use our new cameras to capture their day, which made for some really cool shots! Check out some samples below, straight from the video we captured (no touch-ups!)
Wow, what a wedding! Marsheika & Cliff’s big day was just full of surprises, both for each other and for us! First, Marsheika surprised Cliff with a stunning watch as a wedding day gift, and secondly she shocked both Cliff and us with a song, sung by her, during their ceremony! What an awesome memory to let us capture, I’m go glad it happened! They got married at the Birmingham Museum of Art, which instantly made for a unique wedding venue. Great food, great wedding, sweet entertainment, fun couple, what a day!!

Back in August, Leslie & Jacob got hitched at the gorgeous American Village in Montevallo, Alabama. Having never shot there before, I fell in love with it right away! Even though the weather was on and off that day, with some serious downpours that seemed to come out of nowhere, their wedding was beautifully done, and we captured everything on video. Photography was handled by Mark Parker Photography in Helena, and they both did an awesome job!

This post is really something I’ve been wanting to make for the longest!! Two reasons: first, Felicia & Mike’s wedding was so full of energy you couldn’t help but have a good time, even while you’re working!! and secondly, we got to use our new Brevis35 adapter rig from Cinevate which made a HUGE difference in footage! I absolutely can’t wait to share more footage from the Brevis, so much more film-like.
